Competition: League One

Market: Bradford to beat Walsall

Odds: 17/10 @ Bet365

Walsall will be hoping to all but guarantee their League One status when they travel to the Northern Commercials Stadium on Tuesday night.

For former Leeds boss Simon Grayson, although Bradford drastically struggled entering the New Year and have all but relinquished their chances of securing a playoff position come later this month, the Bantams boss will be hoping his sides recent signs of life can see them finish their season on a high note. Despite coming off the back of a 2-0 defeat to Southend last time out, Grayson’s men have now lost just one in their last five and will be hoping that top scorer Charlie Whyke can finish his own campaign on a personal positive note. The 25-year-old has 16 for the season and two in his last four.

As for Dean Keates’ Walsall side, the Saddlers main problem has been their inability to string together a successful run of results. While the Reds are coming off the back of a 1-0 win against relegation strugglers Northampton Town, the Sadlers have now lost six of their last nine in League One and with four games remaining Keates’ side now hold just a five-point buffer over the relegation zone and are still looking over their shoulder. Along with struggling to collect points of late, the Reds also have cause for concern on the road, Walsall have now picked up three points just once in their last 12 attempts.
