Braga strengthen squad with Barbosa signing

Sporting Clube de Braga have strengthened their squad for the forthcoming season by signing former Portugal U-21 international Helder Barbosa. The 23 year old forward becomes Braga’s ninth signing of the summer. and has signed a three year contract with the Minho Warriors.

Barbosa is a FC Porto youth product and has previously had loan spells at Academica, Trofense and Vitoria Setubal.

Braga will be competing in the qualifying rounds of the Champions League this season after finishing runners up to Benfica in last season’s Portuguese Liga.
