Arsenal drew 1-1 against Brentford at the Emirates on Saturday, giving Liverpool a chance to increase their lead at the top of the Premier League table to 13 points on Sunday. Thomas Partey broke the deadlock for the Gunners in the 61st minute, but the Bees struck back 13 minutes later through Yoanne Wissa.
There was a bit of controversy in the first half, with Arsenal winger Gabriel Martinelli believing the visitors should’ve played with 10 men for over an hour after this tackle on him from Christian Norgaard in the 28th minute.
Referee Simon Hooper, however, saw the situation differently and simply booked the Brentford midfielder, with no intervention from the VAR.
Was it the right decision?
