Gianluigi Buffon’s agent says the goalkeeper will discuss his future with Serie A club Juventus at the end of the season.

The 34-year-old Italy international’s existing contract expires in 2013.

It has been suggested Juve are interested in offering him a new deal, one which would contract Buffon to the Turin club until he decides to retire.

“Juventus are happy with him and he is very happy at the club,” agent Silvano Martina told Radio Sportiva.

“The reason why there has not been any contact is because we will wait until the end of the season.”

Martina was non-committal when asked if his client wanted to see out the rest of his career at the club.

“It is hard to say,” he said.

“He could end his career at Juve, but anything can happen.”
