Competition: Championship
Market: Cardiff to win against Blackburn
Odds: 19/20 @ Bet 365

Cardiff City welcome Blackburn Rovers to the Cardiff City Stadium tonight in the Championship, and are favourites to come out on top to finally pick up their first win of the new season at the third time of asking, in turn potentially confining winless Rovers to the foot of the table.

Cardiff are currently 19th in the Championship table with just one point from their two games this season. While losing their only home game so far, it came against promotion-chasing Queens Park Rangers so they’ll still be full of confidence of dispatching Rovers this evening.

Last season, City lost just two games at home, conceding less than a goal per game on average too. And with Blackburn notoriously poor away form from home, tonight’s game might be a foregone conclusion.

Owen Coyle’s men are currently bottom of the Championship without a point to their name after two games. Rovers have conceded seven goals already, and have only won five games from 24 on the road in the last 12 months.

It’s worth noting Cardiff took four points off Blackburn last season, and haven’t lost to Rovers in the league since 1985. As a result, Bet 365 are giving odds of 19/20 for Cardiff to finally win their first league game of the season, courtesy of struggling Blackburn.
