Changchun Yatai have moved into third in the Chinese Super League after a 2-1 win over Tianjin Teda on Sunday.
Mou Li and Dori struck in the first half and Shen Xiangfu’s team held on despite Marko Zoric’s 68th-minute strike at the TEDA Football Stadium.
Li and forward Dori, on-loan from Brazilian Serie A champions Fluminense, struck twice in a three-minute spell in the first half.
Teda captain Zoric hit back and went within inches of a late equaliser when his header went just wide.
With four games remaining this campaign, Changchun Yatai are closing in on sealing an Asian Champions League berth.
Tianji Teda are still in with a chance of securing a top-four spot, sitting five points adrift of Liaoning Hongyun in seventh.
