CL Update: No goals at Barcelona versus Manchester

No goals were scored in the Champions League semi final clash between FC Barcelona and Manchester United tonight, and the second leg will have to bring a decision.

Manchester were given an enormous chance to open the score after only two minutes when Gabriel Milito handled the ball near his own goal.

But Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo failed to stay calm and his penalty kick bounced onto the crossbar and away from the goal.

From there on, Barcelona were the attacking side while Manchester clearly wanted to leave Spain with a scoreless draw in the pocket.

Barcelona had difficulties creating good chances however. This couldn’t be changed either by players as Henry and Bojan, who entered play in the second half.

Manchester will be satisfied by the draw but Barcelona do have a decent perspective ahead of the second leg, as each away goal there would seriously hurt their English opponents.
