Competition: Irish First Division

Market: Cobh Ramblers win

Odds: 5/6 @ Bet 365

Almost a side that is stuck in limbo at the moment, Cobh Ramblers will travel to St. Coleman’s Park on Saturday night.

Starting with the hosts, now sat 12 points adrift of the play-off positions and also holding a 12-point buffer over the drop zone, Cobh Ramblers are simply looking to end their First Division campaign on a high. Coming off the back of a 2-1 win over Athlone Town last weekend, there is no doubt that Head Coach Stephen Henderson will be most impressed by his sides’ most recent display’s at St. Coleman’s Park. Saturday’s hosts have won each of their last three matchups in Cobh and they will also be boosted by their most recent display against Wexford on home soil. When the two sides met back in March, Cobh picked up an empathic 6-1 win.

As for the visitors, playing out another lackluster display in their 0-0 draw against fellow strugglers Galway United last weekend, it has been another worrying campaign for Wexford. Now sat five points adrift at the foot of the table, Damian Locke’s side have failed to win any of their last 10 appearances, a run that stems back to the 24th of April. Much like last season, a huge part of Wexford’s issues has been their continued struggles in the final third. Saturday’s hosts have managed to record just a single goal in almost 550 minutes of action.
