Itagui maintained their winning start in the Colombia Primera A with a 1-0 victory over nine-man Atletico Huila.

Javier Lopez scored the game’s only goal on 66 minutes in the middle of an Atletico Huila implosion which saw red cards to Luis Paez and Jefferson Lerma in the 60th and 67th minutes.

Junior also made it two wins to start the season with a 1-0 result at home against Once Caldas.

Luis Ruiz’s 15th-minute strike was enough to secure the three points.

Deportivo Cali squandered a chance to join the two division leaders as they drew 1-1 at home against Boyaca Chico.

Striker Miguel Murillo got Deportivo Cali off to a great start in the 15th minute before Jairo Castillo earned a share of the points for Boyaca Chico on 35 minutes.

Envigado remain winless as their road trip to Deportes Tolima resulted in a 1-0 loss after Felipe Noguera’s 69th-minute strike.

Atletico Nacional sent their home fans wild as they salvaged a 1-1 draw against Santa Fe.

It looked as if Silvio Gonzalez’s 75th-minute penalty had snatched the victory until Wilder Guisao popped up on 90 minutes to split the points.

A winner seven minutes from time through Wilson Morelo secured La Equidad a 2-1 away win at Alianza Petrolera.

Darwin Andrade put Equidad ahead in the 41st minute and Michael Rangel equalised for Petrolera on 52 minutes before Morelo’s timely intervention.

A goal for each side in the first half saw Patriotas Boyaca draw 1-1 with Deportivo Pasto.

Millonarios recovered from being a goal down to draw 2-2 against Medellin.

Deportes Quindio and Cucuta Deportivo could not be separated as their clash finished scoreless.
