Tigre have advanced to the Copa Sudamericana final on away goals after a 1-1 draw with Millonarios on Thursday.
After a scoreless draw in the first leg in Argentina, Colombian side Millonarios would have fancied their chances of winning the match at the Estadio Nemesio Camacho in Bogota.
Another tight clash ensured in second leg with both sides starved of opportunities in the first half as the teams headed in the break locked at 0-0.
Tigre finally broke through in the 66th minute through defender Mariano Echevarria after a nice cross from Ezequiel Maggiolo.
With the one-goal advantage the visitors were happy to sit on the lead, but Millonarios set up a grandstand finish when Jorge Perlaza scored from a long-range strike in stoppage time.
The hosts pushed on for a winner but time ran out as Tigre booked their place in the final against Sao Paulo.
The first leg of the final will be at the Estadio Jose Dellagiovanna in Argentina on December 5 before the two sides clash again on December 12 at the Estadio Cicero Pompeu de Toledo in Brazil.
