Coutinho in demand

According to Sport, Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester United and Chelsea are all interested in signing Philippe Coutinho from Barcelona.

Coutinho joined the Catalans after forcing a move from Liverpool in January 2018, which saw the Spanish champions fork out €160 million. However, he has failed to make the grade at Camp Nou so far and they are apparently ready to cut him loose after only 18 months.

Any potential suitor would it have to be prepared to meat both Barcelona’s (€130 million) and Coutinho’s demands (the licence to play freely).

Chelsea’s immediate transfer future is extremely uncertain at the moment. They have been slapped with a two-window ban which they hope to delay in court. If successful, they see Coutinho as a direct replacement both as a player and leader for Eden Hazard. The sale of Hazard, linked with Real Madrid, would likely provide enough funds for the purchase of the Brazilian.

Neymar wants Coutinho at the Parc Des Princes ever since he himself made the move there from Barcelona, and the French champions are ready to fulfill his wish. Manchester United have also expressed an interest, but it’s believed Coutinho doesn’t want to join Liverpool’s greatest rivals.
