With the chance to briefly move within touching distance of the top six, Coventry will welcome Burton to the Ricoh Arena on Tuesday night.

Starting with Tuesday’s hosts, coming off the back of a 1-0 win over Accrington Stanley last weekend, the mood in Coventry’s camp is on a season high. Now unbeaten in their last five League One appearances and marching through the whole of February without tasting defeat, the Sky Blues have also managed to take points off of runaway league leaders Luton Town a fortnight ago. With the chance to move within two points of the playoff positions, it will be their recent defensive stability most impressing Mark Robins. Coventry have now conceded just one goal in over 360 minutes of action and have lost just one match at the Ricoh Arena in 2019.

As for the visitors, slumping to another worrying display in their 0-0 draw at home to Walsall on Saturday, Burton are enduring a four-match winless run and any chance of a surprise playoff push appears off the table. Picking up just a single victory during February, Nigel Clough will be growing more concerned by his sides form in the final third. The Brewers have failed to record a single goal in any of their last three outings and will certainly face another stern test on Tuesday night. Given the Coventry’s very impressive defensive showings of late, we’re backing a home victory in midweek.
