Crystal Palace 19/20 to beat Norwich in Saturday’s Premier League showdown

Competition: Premier League

Market: Crystal Palace win

Odds: 19/20 @ Bet 365

Looking to potentially reclaim their spot in the top-four, Crystal Palace will welcome Norwich to Selhurst Park on Saturday afternoon.

Starting with the hosts, while Palace would have been heartbroken to have seen Wolves snatch an injury-time equalizer last weekend, fans around Selhurst Park should have plenty of positives to take away. Aside from a 4-0 defeat away at Tottenham a fortnight ago, former England boss Roy Hodgson has seen his side lose just one of their last four top-flight appearances and their continued success in South London will be most impressing the Premier League’s oldest boss. Yet to taste defeat on home soil since opening the 2019/2020 campaign, the Eagles are also enjoying a five-match unbeaten run in front of their own supporters.

As for the visitors, despite returning from the international break and picking up a famous 3-2 win over Manchester City, Norwich came crashing back down to earth last weekend. Suffering a 2-0 defeat away at a struggling Burnley and now losing four of their last five outings, a run that also saw them come crashing out of the EFL Cup at the hands of League Two outfit Crawley last month, Daniel Farke will have growing concerns over his side’s form outside of East Anglia. Saturday’s guests have lost each of their three top-flight matches on the road and Saturday could prove to be another tricky test.
