Jiangsu Sainty lost for the first time since June to sit level with Guangzhou Evergrande on top of the Chinese Super League.

Qingdao Jonoon beat the league leaders 1-0 as Jiangsu missed the chance to build a lead on top, instead staying level with Evergrande on 51 points and slipping back to an equal best plus-20 goal difference.

Uzbekistani Aziz Ibragimov scored the only goal for Qingdao Jonoon after 36 minutes.

Guizhou Renhe ended a three-game losing streak with a 4-2 win over Didier Drogba’s Shanghai Shenhua.

Guizhou went 3-0 up inside the hour mark before Australian Joel Griffiths and Drogba scored in the second half to avoid disaster for Shanghai.

Dalian Aerbin were too good for Beijing Guoan, as Peter Utaka scored a double in a 3-1 win.

Second-to-last Shanghai Shenxin remain in trouble after a 1-0 home defeat to Tianjin Teda.

Finally, James Chamanga scored a brace for Dalian Shide but it was not enough for his side to avoid a 3-2 defeat to Liaoning Whowin.
