Rashford “not an option” for PSG

Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford is not among the options considered by Paris Saint-Germain as they work on identifying a suitable replacement for Kylian Mbappe this summer, according to Sky Sports journalist Kaveh Solhekol.

Mbappe is expected to trade in the French capital for the Spanish one as his reportedly imminent move to Real Madrid looms ever closer, and PSG head coach Luis Enrique has already made it clear his team has to get used to playing without the France captain. The Ligue 1 champions obviously need to contemplate possible additions to their attacking line, but despite recent stories linking Rashford with the upcoming vacancy at the Parc des Princes, it seems Rashford is not someone they’re considering at this point.

The 26-year-old has recently been criticized for a perceived “lack of commitment” to United’s cause and has been linked with departure from Old Trafford. This season, he has seven goals and six assists in 37 appearances for Erik ten Hag’s team in all competitions.
