Carlos Cuesta has been named as Parma’s new head coach, the club announced on Thursday.
Cuesta leaves his role as Mikel Arteta’s assistant coach at Arsenal to take his first managerial role.
The 29-year-old replaces Cristian Chivu, who left Parma after just four months in charge to succeed Simone Inzaghi at Inter.
Cuesta spent nearly five years at Arsenal after joining from Juventus’ youth academy, winning the Community Shield twice, in 2020 and 2023.
