Hamburg star Nigel de Jong has admitted he is keen on a move to Premier League side Manchester City.
Reports say the Dutch midfielder is on the verge of joining City in a deal believed to be worth around £15million.
De Jong is keen on a move due to the ‘potential’ the Premier League side have.
De Jong said in the Mail on Sunday: “Some people say footballers are thick and not bright enough to be entrepreneurs.
“But when I see that a company has potential, I move the borders and go all the way for it.
“Everybody knows that I want to play for a big club eventually. I count City in that category.”
