Donny van de Beek to wait over Ajax future

According to a recent report from Sky Sports News, Ajax star Donny van de Beek is going to wait until the end of the current season before making any decisions regarding his future at the club. The midfielder has been a key and influential member of their first team squad throughout the course of the season, and in particular, he’s been very useful in Europe. VDB actually scored the winning goal during Ajax’s Champions League semi final first leg against Tottenham Hotspur earlier this week, as they find themselves on the verge of a final showdown with either Barcelona or Liverpool.

In recent weeks and months he has been heavily linked with a move to several of Europe’s top sides, with Napoli being one of the primary contenders. However, he would prefer to focus on getting Ajax as far as they can possibly go in this European (and domestic) adventure before he considers a move away.
