Uncapped trio Ola John, Luciano Narsingh and Adam Maher have been named in the Netherlands squad for this month’s friendly with England.

The players have lined out alongside one another for their country at under-age level and have now received their first call-ups to Bert van Marwijk’s senior squad.

There is no room in the 27-strong preliminary team for either winger Eljero Elia, who has seen little game time since joining Juventus from Hamburg last year, or Hoffenheim forward Ryan Babel, while Barcelona’s Ibrahim Afellay misses out through injury.

PSV quartet Jeremain Lens, Erik Pieters, Kevin Strootman and Georginio Wijnaldum have all been included, while Vurnon Anita is the only Ajax player in the squad.

Feyenoord’s sole representative is Ron Vlaar.

The Netherlands will face England at Wembley on February 29.
