(GSM) – Valencia manager Unai Emery has committed to the Spanish giants by signing an extension to his previous contract which would expire in the summer.
The 38-year-old, who joined the Mestalla based outfit in2008, has taken Los Che to third place in La Liga this season with a place in next year’s UEFA Champions League.
While, the former Almeria boss has not revealed the length of the contract extension but is happy to commit to the club.
He said: “I am very grateful for the appreciation shown for our work and for the fact that we are staying on.”
Valencia’s next game is a trip to El Madrigal at the weekend to take on Villarreal.
