England welcome Portugal to Wembley for tonight’s international friendly, and are favourites to come out on top to build up some momentum ahead of this summer’s European Championships. The Three Lions won’t have to worry about Cristiano Ronaldo this evening, so they’ll fancy their chances of getting a result.

Roy Hodgson’s side have been in fine form of late, winning four of their last five in all competitions, and they’re expected to name a strong side to get an indication of how they’ll line up for Euro 2016. As a result, England should have too much for a Ronaldo-less Portugal side at Wembley.

The visitors are sure to still put up a fight, however, given their own decent run of late. They have a highly experienced squad of talent who play in the top divisions across Europe. Portugal have been winning of late too, having beaten Belgium and Norway in their previous two internationals.
