Spain tackle the Czech Republic in Prague on Friday in Euro 2012 qualifying with their place at Poland and Ukraine already secured.

But the Czechs will be hoping for all three points from the fixture as

they look to secure second place in Group I and a play-off spot.

With Spain already guaranteed first place, the Czech Republic have a

two-point lead over Scotland with both countries still having two games

to play.

With the Scots away to Liechtenstein on Saturday, there is a chance they

could leapfrog the Czechs into second place ahead of their final

matches should Spain emerge from victorious from Prague.

The Czechs are away to Lithuania in their final game, while Scotland play Spain in Alicante.

Czech Republic coach Michal Bilek will be hoping Bayer Leverkusen

fullback Michal Kadlec will once again be in goalscoring touch.

In their last international friendly against the Ukraine, Kadlec scored

twice in the first 15 minutes in a 4-0 win, with second-half strikes

from Jan Rezek and Daniel Kolar wrapping up a comfortable victory.

Arsenal’s Tomas Rosicky is likely to be in charge of the Czech midfield

while Chelsea keeper Petr Cech should win a recall to the starting

lineup.

Spain will be without Cesc Fabregas and Andres Iniesta while Gerard

Pique and Carles Puyol are also likely to miss out with their team

already qualified.

Chelsea’s Fernando Torres is likely to return to international duty while David Silva should start in the midfield.
