Everton will go fourth in the Premier League with a win against Sunderland this afternoon. Form is on their side to achieve it, considering they’re coming off the back of six straight league wins – the last of which was a 3-0 home win against Arsenal, of whom they’re in direct competition with for the last Champions League place.

Bet 365 are giving the in-form Toffees odds of 17/20 to get all three points against Gus Poyet’s side – who themselves have endured a horrific run of form in the last couple of months. The Black Cats are winless in their last seven Premier League games, picking just a point since early February.

They did, however, manage to beat Everton 1-0 at Goodison Park, which remains Everton’s only home defeat of the entire campaign. But a lot has changed since then and the Merseyside outfit have top-four hopes to chase which should see them get a comfortable victory against Sunderland – whose Premier League status is fledgling week after week.
