February 13th: Tuesday’s Champions League Double – 3/1 Special, Betting Tips & Predictions

With the Champions League knockout stage getting underway on Tuesday night, two of Europe’s biggest icons will steal centre stage.

On a Tuesday schedule that features both Real Madrid and defending European champions Manchester City, we have found a pair of intriguing betting markets that are worth keeping an eye out for.

20:00 FC Copenhagen vs Manchester City

Making real history last season as they became the first English club since 1999 to be crowned treble champions, Manchester City have cemented their spot as one of the greatest club side from across the modern era. Enjoying what has been an extended purple patch, the Premier League giants will be looking to make another statement here.

Picking up some perfect momentum over the weekend as they secured a 2-0 victory against relegation scrappers Everton, Pep Guardiola’s side are installed as a standout contender to defend their European crown in 2024.

Really riding a wave of momentum and winning all of their previous 10 straight appearances across all competitions, the former Barcelona boss has also seen his squad claim some heavyweight scalps.

Winning all of their Group G appearances last year by an aggregate score of 18-7 and with Erling Haaland back to his clinical best, Guardiola’s camp will be excited by a trip to Denmark in midweek.

Although Copenhagen might have sprung a famous Champions League upset back in December as they followed German icons out of Group A, Jacob Neestrup’s side couldn’t have asked for a tougher test here.

Although the defending Superliga champions might have picked up a crucial 3-1 victory against Molde last week, Tuesday’s hosts have shown some extended issues at the Parken Stadium.

Last seen in front of their own supporters getting hit with a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Bronby, the former Viborg boss has seen his squad win just a pair of their previous six showdowns in the Danish capital.

20:00 RB Leipzig vs Real Madrid

While Real Madrid might have eventually fallen 10 points adrift of defending their La Liga crown last season, Los Blancos are certainly firing on all cylinders this time around. Continuing to receive a string of plaudits this year and with the mood in Carlo Ancelotti’s camp at a red-hot high, Tuesday’s guests are tipped as a genuine European contender in 2024.

Picking up what was a season-defining 4-0 romp against title rivals Girona over the weekend as they picked up some perfect momentum, the former AC Milan boss has his sights set on making real history this season.

Suffering just a single defeat from any of their last 27 straight appearances across all competitions – a run that stems all the way back to September 24th – Real Madrid also made a major Champions League statement last year.

Winning all of their six Group C showdowns by an aggregate score of 16-7, the Spanish icons should be smelling the chance to claim a first-leg advantage on foreign soil.

Although RB Leipzig might have shocked many across the continent back in December as they punched a knockout stage ticket, Marco Rose’s side are in the midst of an extended blip.

Eventually forced to settle for a lively 2-2 stalemate away at Augsburg over the weekend, Tuesday’s hosts have recorded just a single win from any of their previous six appearances across all competitions.

Hit with an action-packed 3-2 defeat when they welcomed Los Blancos to Germany for a Group C showdown on December 12th, Rose’s side should face another stern challenge here.
