Chalobah makes Forest switch

Nottingham Forest have completed the loan signing of Chelsea midfielder Nathaniel Chalobah, according to Sky Sports.

Jose Mourinho is keen for the England U21 international to gain further first team experience, having impressed during a season long spell with Watford last term, with five goals in thirty-eight appearances.

The Chelsea manager is a fan of the 18 year old, and watched him play 74 minutes of the play-off final at Wembley days before his return to Stamford Bridge was confirmed.

The Hornets were recently linked with another move for Chalobah, as were FA Cup winners Wigan Athletic, but it is Billy Davies who has won the race to secure his services in a deal that stretches until January 15.

He is available for Saturday’s trip to Doncaster Rovers, and could well feature in the centre of midfield, with a gap recently created following the departure of fans favourite Adlene Guedioura.
