Former Manchester United flop Diego Forlan has ruled out a return to the Premier League this summer.
The 31-year-old insists he is happy at Atletico Madrid despite interest from clubs such as Tottenham.
Forlan has been a key player for Uruguay at the World Cup finals in South Africa this summer.
Forlan said: “I am very happy in Madrid and I have three years left on my contract with Atletico. I will not go.
“Now I want to have another season as good or better than the one just completed.”
Reports claim Spurs could decide to turn their attention to Forlan’s Uruguay team-mate Luis Suarez.
