In desperate need of a win, Joachim Low’s Germany side will travel to Paris on Tuesday night when they face off against the newly crowned World Champions France in the UEFA Nations League.

Starting with Didier Deschamp’s newly crowned World Champions, yet to be beaten in their opening two matches of this years UEFA Nations League, France are tipped by many to win the group outright. Battling back from two goals down to take a draw off of Iceland last time out, Les Bleus are now unbeaten in their last 14 matches. Also yet to taste defeat at the Stade de France over the past 18-months, Deschamps should fancy his chances of extending their unbeaten run. One man to watch will be 19-year-old PSG talisman Kylian Mbappe. Scoring against Iceland over the weekend, he now has six in his last three for club and country.

As for Joachim Low’s misfiring former World Champions, coming off the back of an incredibly disappointing showing in their 3-0 hammering away at Holland on Saturday, the morale in Germany’s camp is at an all-time low. Failing to pick up just one win out in Russia and finishing bottom of the group behind the likes of South Korea, they are still looking for their first win in the tournament and relegation is looking increasingly likely. Finding the net just once in their last four, their all-star team have also lost five of their last six matches on the road.
