Fulham eye Kalvin Phillips transfer

Kalvin Phillips, currently playing for West Ham on loan from Manchester City, is one of the transfer targets considered by Fulham for the upcoming summer, according to Football Transfers. Other alternatives include Arsenal youngster Charlie Patino, as well as Callum O’Hare of Coventry.

The Cottagers are apparently preparing for the possibility of losing Joao Palhinha, who has been a target for several top European clubs for a while now. He was close to joining Bayern Munich last summer, but the move fell through late on. With the prospect of the Portugal international leaving the club looming closer, there is obvious need for them to consider options to strengthen the midfield section of Marco Silva’s squad ahead of 2024/25.

Leeds United, Phillips’ former club, are also said to be interested in bringing the midfielder back to Elland Road, but their ability to do so will depend on whether they earn promotion to the Premier League again, as well as their ability to secure sufficient funds to complete the transfer.
