Ghezzal and Diabate set to leave Leicester

The Greek transfer window closes on Saturday and it remains to be seen whether Leicester City’s Rachid Ghezzal will indeed be signing for Olympiacos as was reported before.

Meanwhile, according to Sky Sports, another one of Brendan Rodgers’ players will be leaving Leicester. French Ligue 1 club Dijon are reportedly interested in Fousseni Diabate, who has apparently been redundant at King Power. The French forward, also a Mali international, joined the Foxes in January 2018, but was sent to the Turkish Sivasspor on loan in January 2019.

During his two seasons with Leicester the 23-year-old Diabate made a total of 19 appearances and scored two goals. During his one season on loan in the Turkish Super Lig the French winger made 15 appearances and scored two goals. The Turkish transfer window closes on 2 September.

Leicester are reportedly looking to make permanent deals for these players or at least a loan with an option to buy.
