Goal-shy Tottenham 15/13 to see past Southampton this weekend

After a valiant showing in their Europe League exit, Tottenham are being backed by 888 Sport with odds of 15/13 to win against Southampton on Sunday. The Londoners aren’t in the best league form, however – losing three of their previous four games.

But they put in an impressive performance against Portuguese Liga leaders Benfica in midweek, and manager Tim Sherwood will be hoping that holds the side in good stead against an in-form Southampton side.

The Saints have won back-to-back games for the first time since October, and boast very good away form of late – amassing 10 points from a possible 15 on the road.

Tottenham beat Mauricio Pochettino’s men 3-2 when the two sides met earlier on this season, and they have only lost to three of the 15 clubs below them in the Premier League this season.

They are in desperate need to get back to winning ways with their Europa League place up for grabs and Manchester United also breathing down their neck.

It’s worth noting Southampton’s last win against Spurs was all the way back in 2002, but will the London side beat the Saints on Sunday?
