Graham Potter considering recalling Callum Hudson-Odoi to Chelsea

Chelsea manager Graham Potter is considering recalling Callum Hudson-Odoi from his loan spell at Bayer Leverkusen in January, according to 90min. Potter, who left Brighton and Hove Albion to replace Thomas Tuchel as the Chelsea manager earlier this month, is a massive fan of the young winger and wants him in his first-team squad.

Hudson-Odoi moved to Bundesliga club Bayer on a season-long loan deal from Chelsea in the summer of 2022. The 21-year-old winger has made two starts and one substitute appearance in the Bundesliga so far this season, providing one assist in the process. The England international has also made two appearances in the UEFA Champions League so far this campaign.

Chelsea are aiming to win the Premier League this season and are also competing in the UEFA Champions League. The Blues would be a better team with Hudson-Odoi in it.
