Competition: National League
Market: Harrogate win
Odds: 8/5 @ Bet 365
With the chance to shore up their position in the playoffs, Harrogate will travel to relegation contenders Barnet on Tuesday.
Starting with Tuesday’s hosts, coming off the back of another lackluster display in their 0-0 draw at home to Hartlepool over the weekend, Barnet have now failed to pick up a win in any of their last four outings. Now sat just a single place above the bottom-three and holding only a four-point buffer, Darren Currie’s side have remarkably recorded just a single National League victory in 2019. Fans around the Hive will be growing more concerned by their form in the capital. The Bees have only picked up one home victory in their last six attempts and Tuesday could prove to be another tricky evenings work.
As for the visitors, while Barnet are a side struggling at the foot of the table, Harrogate are firmly involved in their own battle at the other end. Picking up a 1-0 win over Maidenhead on Saturday, they have won their last three National League matches on the bounce and another victory on Tuesday would see them move up to fourth in the table. Yet to lose any of their last five outings, it has been their form on the road really spearheading the promotion push. Simon Weaver’s side have won their last four away matches on the spin and have scored 10 goals on that winning run.
