According to a report from AS, Chelsea star Eden Hazard is said to have turned down two different chances to renew his contract with the Blues. His current deal is set to expire in summer 2020, and from an outsider’s perspective, it certainly seems as if the Belgian international is gearing up for a busy 18 months or so. It’s no secret that Hazard is interested in a move over to La Liga with Real Madrid, but according to the report, Hazard is a bit concerned about the lack of interest coming from the Bernabeu right now.
He’s still considered to be pretty high up on their priority list, but at this moment in time, they appear to be focusing on what’s happening on the pitch as opposed to off of it.
Hazard, on the other hand, continues to shine as the man who is pretty much single handedly keeping Chelsea in the top four race.
