FC Barcelona might have to miss two influential players for next Wednesday’s Champions League final with Manchester United, as both Thierry Henry and Andres Iniesta are doubtful.

Henry has been dealing with ligament troubles since Barcelona’s 6-2 crushing of Real Madrid earlier this month and might not be fit in time to make an appearance in Rome.

Iniesta, who scored the goal that saw Barcelona through to the final when equalising versus Chelsea in the semi’s, injured his thigh two weeks ago and might miss out as well.

“I don’t know if they will make it in time. We’ll see on Monday or Tuesday,” Barcelona manager Pep Guardiola said.

Earlier, it was confirmed that Dani Alves is out for the season while fellow defenders Eric Abidal and Rafael Marquez are both sidelined as well.
