Ibe set for Liverpool return

Liverpool are set to recall winger Jordon Ibe from his successful loan spell at Championship high-flyers Derby County, according to the Mail Online.

The 19 year old has turned out twenty-four times for Steve McClaren’s side, scoring five goals and helping them to second place in the second tier.

Ibe moved to Anfield from Wycombe Wanderers in December 2011 though he has made just three appearances in all competitions for the Merseyside club, while he had a three month spell at Birmingham City last season where he played eleven times.

Internationally, he has been capped four times for England’s U19 squad, with all three of his goals for the side coming in a 6-0 victory over Montenegro last May.

Brendan Rodgers men currently sit in eighth place, five points off the top four and are priced at 5/6 to take all three points from their trip to Aston Villa on Saturday afternoon.
