Iheanacho and Musa set for Leicester exits

International managers often have a lot to say about their players’ fitness and injuries, but not many tend to encourage transfers. That is exactly what Nigeria coach Gernot Rohr seems to have done however, according to the Evening Standard, when he suggested that Leicester forwards Kelechi Iheanacho and Ahmed Musa will leave their club in the January transfer window.

“We are in a transfer month and I expect these players who are not playing regularly, especially Musa and Iheanacho, to get another club in the same league or elsewhere,” Rohr said, making his thoughts very clear regarding his selection process.

Musa is yet to play a single minute in the Premier League for the Foxes this season, while Iheanacho has featured just nine times, including seven times from the bench.

With star forward Jamie Vardy in such fine form once again during this campaign it is little surprise that the pair are struggling for game time, and they will likely move on as soon as possible.
