Immobile nears Dortmund exit

Borussia Dortmund striker Ciro Immobile is almost certain to leave Signal-Iduna Park at the end of the season, Bild can reveal.

The Italian forward has failed to adapt to life in German Bundesliga and he is no longer in the first team plans of coach Jurgen Klopp.

Bild has also learned that Immobile has put his house for sale, which adds fuel to speculation linking the player with a summer exit.

The Italian recently complained that he did not feel part of the group at Borussia Dortmund and everything suggests his spell with the Millionaires will come to and end earlier than predicted.

According to the latest reports, a return to Italian Serie A appears on the cards, with Fiorentina and Napoli keen on his services.

Despite the lack of playing time at club level, Immobile made it to Italy’s squad for matches against Bulgaria and England, with the Azzurri 5/6 favourites to win the Euro 2016 qualifier against Bulgaria.
