Inter agree Lukaku terms

Inter Milan have agreed personal terms with the representatives of Romelu Lukaku, according to SportMediaset.

Federico Pastorello, who represents the Belgian striker, has accepted Inter’s offer on his behalf, and now all that remains is for the two clubs to agree on a potential transfer fee. United paid Everton £75 million for his services back in 2016, but Lukaku hasn’t been able to justify such a hefty price tag on the pitch. He has lost his place in the starting XI under manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and wants to join Inter. The club aren’t opposed to letting him go, but they wish to recoup most of what they paid and they apparently demand in excess of £60 million.

It remains to be seen whether Inter agree to go that high, or United lower their demand, or if the 26-year-old ends up staying at Old Trafford, where he has made 92 appearances in all competitions and scored 42 goals.
