Inter to move for Borini in January

Inter Milan will attempt to sign Liverpool’s Fabio Borini for £10m when the transfer window reopens in January, according to the Express.

The forward looked set for a move away from Anfield on deadline day, but rejected the chance to join Queens Park Rangers while Sunderland had also been linked.

He spent last season on loan at the Black Cats, where his ten goals in all competitions helped the club achieve Premier League safety, and to the League Cup final at Wembley.

With Mario Balotelli arriving at Anfield last month, Borini is likely to find it difficult to work his way into Brendan Rodgers plans this season.

Since signing for Liverpool in the summer of 2012, the 23 year old has made just twenty appearances for the club, scoring just twice.

Internationally, he hasn’t been capped since making his Italy debut in a 1-0 friendly defeat to the United States in February 2012.
