Now seen to be a red-hot favorite to secure a Championship return this season, Ipswich will make the trip to the Wham Stadium on Sunday lunchtime.

Starting with the hosts, although Accrington may have suffered a 2-1 defeat away at Rochdale last weekend, Head Coach John Coleman should have some positives to take away after a bright start to October. Now finding the way out of the drop zone and holding a two-point buffer, fans around the Wham Stadium have seen their side lose just one of their previous six matches across all competitions. While Stanley may have their sights set on extending their League One status come May, they have struggled with their consistency on home soil. Sunday’s hosts have failed to win any of their last three third-tier matches in Lancashire.

As for the visitors, putting in their usual rampant display and picking up a 4-0 win over Gillingham last weekend, the mood in East Anglia couldn’t be any higher. Already holding a four-point buffer at the top of the table and seen to be a huge favorite to clinch an automatic route back to the Championship, Paul Lambert’s men are currently enjoying a five-match winning run and are yet to taste defeat in England’s third-tier since opening the new campaign. Also now remarkably conceding just a single goal in their last six matches, a run that stems back to the 3rd of September, we’re backing a high-flying Ipswich to come out on top this weekend.
