Isco wants to stay at Real

Isco Alarcon is determined to stay at Real Madrid past this summer, according to Marca.

The midfielder is under contract with the Champions League holders until the end of 2021/22, and that contract apparently contains a rather interesting buyout clause – of €700 million, though the Spanish outlet believe the club currently deem him “transferable”.

Having suffered a torrid time under Julen Lopetegui and Santiago Solari, Isco’s career seems to be going through a period of revival under Zinedine Zidane, and the Frenchman recently revealed that he is counting on the 26-year-old in the future.

Should a considerable offer arrive, it remains to be seen if president Florentino Perez will listen to Zidane. But with both the coach and the player determined to continue their cooperation, it seems Isco will be going nowhere this summer despite the reports of strong interest from the likes of Juventus, Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain over the past several months.
