Kashima Antlers moved to sixth on the J.League table after sharing the spoils in a goalless draw with Sanfrecce Hiroshima on Sunday.
Both teams had goals disallowed for offside.
Brazilian striker Davi found the net in the first half only for the assistant referee to wave his flag and rule out the score.
In the second half, Hiroshima’s Tsukasa Shiotani suffered a similar fate when a shot from the edge of the penalty area found the back of the net, only to be turned down for offside.
Hiroshima are ninth on the table, despite dropping the valuable home points.
