Januzaj set for United exit

The Independent understands that Manchester United are ready to use Adnan Januzaj as a makeweight in a deal to land either Paris Saint Germain’s Marquinhos or Seamus Coleman of Everton in the summer.

Louis van Gaal is keen to strengthen his defence at the end of the season, and deems Januzaj surplus to requirements having handed the midfielder just six starts in all competitions so far this season.

Captain Wayne Rooney, Angel Di Maria and Juan Mata are all above Januzaj in the United pecking order, while Marouane Fellaini has also featured more times than the Belgium international.
Both Marquinhos and Coleman have long been linked with a move to Old Trafford, but potential deals for either have so far failed to materialise.

Having booked their place in the fifth round of the FA Cup on Tuesday evening, United travel to West Ham United in the league on Sunday afternoon and can be backed at 1/1 for the win.
