Competition: International friendly
Market: Japan to win against Bulgaria
Odds: 7/11 @ 888 Sport

Japan lock horns with Bulgaria in the Kirin Cup tonight, and are big favourites to come out on top given their home advantage for this evening’s fixture, as well as their superior form compared to the visitors’.

It’s largely an exhibition encounter between the two nations, with a dash of a competition edge, and Japan have enjoyed six wins from six ahead of the clash. The home side haven’t conceded a goal in this time either, and while such dominant results have come against weaker opposition, Japan are still a force to be reckoned with.

Bulgaria might have more fight in them after a recent resurgent in form – wins over Azerbaijan, Portugal and Macedonia – but getting a win in Japan’s backyard won’t be easy. The Samurai Blue have lost only once since 2014, picking up victories over the likes of Jamaica, Australia and South Korea along the way.

As a result, 888 Sport are backing Japan with odds of 7/11 to see past Bulgaria in tonight’s international friendly. They have an affinity with the Kirin Cup, and are expected to resume their winning ways in the competition this evening.
