Joe Hart set for Manchester City summer exit

The last couple of seasons have been a roller-coaster ride for Joe Hart, who has gone from being England’s nailed on number one goalkeeper to not even starting for West Ham, where he is currently languishing on loan.

Currently contracted by Manchester City, Hart’s deal will expire at the end of next season, and he is willing to go abroad to earn consistent game time, according to the Mail.

The England international spent last season on loan at Torino, though struggled to make an impact for the Serie A side. In this campaign he had been featuring for West Ham, but was dropped in favour of Adrian back in December.

Currently on £120,000 a week, Hart may well have to take a pay cut if he does indeed move away from Manchester City. He will also need to earn more minutes if he wants to continue making it into Gareth Southgate’s England squad.
