Tuttosport is reporting that Serie A champions Juventus are hot on the trail of AS Roma defender Alessio Romagnoli.
The Bianconeri aim to rejuvenate their aging back line and are seriously considering a move on the Italy Under 21 international.
And while Roma will not be too keen on doing business with their title rivals, they would struggle to reject a serious offer due to the poor financial situation.
The 19-year-old footballer recently extended his deal at Stadio Olimpico until June 2018 and he has largely impressed while on loan at Sampdoria this season.
Romagnoli quickly nailed down a regular starting berth at Marassi, making seven Serie A appearances and scoring one goal in the process.
Sampdoria suffered an unfortunate defeat to Inter Milan yesterday evening having dominated the proceedings, but the Bluecerchiati sit in fourth position in the league standings following the impressive start to the new league campaign.
