Serie A champions Juventus are readying a January assault on Paris Saint-Germain starlet Adrien Rabiot, Tuttosport can reveal.
The highly rated midfielder is almost certain to quit Parc des Princes in the summer seeing as how he will be out of contract at the end of the season.
And even though Roma are believed to be in pole position at the moment with sporting director Walter Sabatini having confirmed the talks for Rabiot, Juventus are confident they can win the race for the player’s signature.
The Bianconeri are well aware that PSG are on the lookout for a new right-sided defender and they are prepared to offer Stephan Lichtsteiner in exchange for Rabiot.
But, considering that the Swiss defender’s contract is also due to expire in the summer, Juventus officials hope to extend his deal before starting negotiations for the Frenchman so as to be in a better position during the talks.
