Juventus have started talks with Wanda Nara, the wife and agent of Mauro Icardi, over a possible transfer for the striker this summer, according to AS.
Apparently, the striker, currently at Paris Saint-Germain on loan from Inter Milan, is not a part of the Ligue 1 champions’ plans for the future. He has recently dropped down the pecking order behind Edinson Cavani, and his wife and representative has therefore engaged in a conversation with the Old Lady about her husband and client possibly moving to Turin for next season.
Juventus have been reportedly impressed by the Argentinian’s contribution at the Parc des Princes in the first half of the season, despite his form significantly dropping off since the turn of the year. They are apparently willing to pay €65 million for his services, which is the amount PSG would have to pay to make the current loan deal permanent.
Icardi has so far scored 20 goals in 31 games this season.
