Juventus want Meunier

Juventus are extremely keen on signing Thomas Meunier from Paris Saint-Germain, according to Corriere dello Sport.

There was a lot of speculation about the Belgian defender’s future prior to and during the summer transfer window. He was heavily linked with Arsenal, but in the end, Meunier himself quashed all rumours by publicly assuring PSG boss Thomas Tuchel that he had no intention of leaving the Parc Des Princes and that he could be counted on.

Now, however, it seems the Serie A champions are about to come calling and it remains to be seen whether his answer to them would be negative as well. Apparently, Juventus mean business with this one and they’re prepared to do whatever it takes, even to offer Matia De Sciglio as a makeweight. Meunier’s contract with the Ligue 1 champions expires at the end of the season and he has been offered a new one, but nothing is settled at the moment.
