It was only a matter of time before Manchester City were linked with Kaka. Last year’s best player in the world, top five again this year, surely somebody would suggest that City were going to buy him?
At last, the Daily Express cames to the rescue by telling us that Manchester City have sent a high-powered delegate to Italy to try to secure a stunning world-record deal for the AC Milan player.
They go on to say that City are prepared to wait until the summer to land the Brazilian if they can persuade the Serie A club to part with him, but they would rather do business now.
